Establishing a dynamic and diverse network comprising all CSOs in Vanuatu, which collaboratively and energetically strive to enhance the well-being of the entire population of Vanuatu
Developing a robust NGO sector that faithfully embodies the concerns of ni-Vanuatu individuals and marginalized communities, while advocating for significant local developmental matters
The Vanuatu Association of Non-Governmental Organization (VANGO) is the national umbrella organisation for all non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and community-based organizations (CBOs) operating in Vanuatu.
This strategic plan outlines a vision,
mission, values, four goals, and eight objectives to guide VANGO in the 2022-2030 period.
Founded in 1991, it was first registered
with the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) in 1995.
With the support of Oxfam, PIANGO, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, along with the collaboration of its members, VANGO will embark on an exciting new journey, that will bring great benefit to all stakeholders.
